New Jersey Municipal Court Attorney
I work with clients who face a variety of charges in New Jersey municipalities:
A Municipal Court typically has jurisdiction only over cases that occur within the boundaries of its municipality. The Municipal Courts in New Jersey have responsibility, among other things, for:
Motor vehicle and parking tickets
Traffic tickets
Non-indictable criminal offenses
Municipal ordinance offenses (such as dog barking or building code violations)
Fish and game offenses
Motor Vehicle Offenses
If you have been issued with a traffic ticket, I will attend municipal traffic court with you and present legal reasons why the charges should be dismissed. I also provide reasons why the state should not assess points against your driver's license. I may also ask for a reduction of the fines you may be required to pay. For more information, view the complete list of the NJSA point schedule for traffic violations.
Criminal Offenses
I also represent you when you face non-indictable criminal charges. A conviction can have serious consequences, including a potential jail sentence and fine. A criminal charge in New Jersey requires an aggressive defense, which I am known to provide for my clients in municipal courts.
For municipal cases, I generally offer a flat fee scale. I believe that everyone has a right to legal representation, regardless of their income level.
If you are facing a municipal court charge, I invite you to contact me at your earliest opportunity. We will work together to plan your defense.
