People who come to me for help with family law are usually interested in getting a divorce or enforcing a Final Judgment of Divorce. However, I also assist unmarried individuals who have family related issues, including child custody, visitation, child support, spousal support and property distribution. I work hard to serve both you and your children. Children need housing, monetary and emotional support, and time with both their parents. Fair Settlements

In finalizing a divorce I work hard to provide you with all the information and advice you need to enter into an equitable and fair settlement. In those instances when settlement is not possible, I work with you to gather all of the information necessary to fight aggressively for your position to gain the best result for you and your family at trial.  

Post-decree Adjustments

Another large aspect of the family law practice is helping you to solve problems not only at the time of the divorce, but also after your divorce is finalized. Just as change happens in the lives of families, change is sometimes also necessary in the terms of divorce:

• Children may need more support or require less support. 
• Parents who are denied child custody or visitation can have those rights restored.
• Parents or grandparents who were originally granted child custody or visitation rights may have those rights altered or removed.
• Parents may want more time with their children than originally granted.
• Parents may want to move out of the State.

Adoptions

A special part of my practice includes assisting families adopt children from this country or abroad.  I look forward to working with you to help your family grow.
